Ankarana national park
Located within a vast limestone massif of average Jurassic, in the province of Antsiranana (Diego suarez towards Ambilobe). The massif of Ankarana is constituted of a lampiaz of Tsingy and caves, refused of several animals and endemic plants of Madagascar. It is one of the most visited tourist sites in the North of the island. The reserve also a national sanctuary for ancestral traditions.
Amber Mountain
Located about 36 km from Diego Suarez. This massif offers a typical humid tropical climate and shelters an abundant fauna and flora which are typical of the humid forests of the island. Several species of animals can surprise you during your visit; birds, lemurs; reptile species, notably: 2nd smallest chameleon in the world. Amber mountain is the oldest national park of Madagascar. It offers you sacred waterfalls where the animists make their purifications.
Red Tsingy
Located 63 km south-east of the city of Diégo suarez. The “Tsingy Rouge” is an ideal place to make a visit. This beautiful place has a landscape of red earth and “Tsingy” with forms less sharp than the others which expose a pretty decoration with an ochre color which merges an attractive visual.
